Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid...
Well I finally got my carbon fiber trunk lid for my car and got it on last night...it took some work, but i finally got it on and as straight as possible. No more key hold and no more hole from the old wing now! Just straight, pure carbon fiber!!!! 
It looks dope and I am stoked! It is from ViS and they make some good quality carbon fiber...all the exsiting holes lined up and everything bolted right in...only bad thing is that is so freakin light that the trunk flies open like a bat out of hell when i pop the trunk open from the inside...which is now the only way to open it.
Anyways here are some pix i just took of it this morning. Also I got the wing back on, I had to drill a couple holes, but after making a little cardboard jig for placement it was a snap!

That is ****ing bad ***!!!!!!! I'm so jelous. So is VIS going to do a production run on the lid or is it llike a custom order type thing? and how much would one cost? Man that looks sweet!

not sure on what they are going to do...i just got it from them. This is actually for an EVO 8, but after a post another guy did in the Evo General forum, there was no doubt the OZ Lancer and the EVO 8 lids fit on each other....

hmm too bad i had so much trouble with VIS else I would love to buy their stuff. How was fitment? cause the fitment on my cf hood from them was just ok. Looks great and that is their peice that is in production and you can order it from them. Last time I spoke with VIS it was around 800 for the trunk.

yeah it fits fine, just took sometime to get it to fit right...they have awesome quality, only thing is I didnt go thru them, but they are the manufacture of the lid...

Yeah I would recommend their products no problem but do it through a distributor. DO NOT BUY DIRECT FROM VIS..... Great lookin trunk I am truely envious.
