i have HID kit with 9007 (just low beam)
if I buy H1 HID bulbs then does it come with harness and everything that i need to fit in cedia lights housing?? or do i need socket things? (i know i need 9005 harness too)

sorry to big back this thread but i decided to go back to reg bulbs instead of hids... i bought h1 bulbs but they wont fit in the harnesses (i have a new set of wires b/c i have two sets of cedias) dp i need to buy a harness for h1 bulbs?

damn you kareem!! .. i was waiting for you to get on aim. i had my laptop outside with me while i was trying to install just an hr ago... i'm like "wtf, these bulbs won't connect" haha. it got late so i'll do it tomorrow

Yeah, you will need harness for both high beam (9005) & low beam (H1)....the stock harness (9007) is totally different so you will need those to wire them to your stock harness!!

Actually, if you want you can wire straight to the prongs of the H1 bulb... but it is recommended you use a harness as straight wiring can easily throw a short. If you do decide to wire straight to the prongs, it doesnt matter which prong gets positive and which gets ground... just be sure to wrap it in electrical tape or shrink tubing.
