Might be a dumb question, but what bulbs are supposed to be used for the cedia turn signals if the stock bulbs aren't right??

They're wedge bulbs. Forget what number it is though but i think they're similar to the rear turn signal bulb.

I used the bulb out of the stock housings turn signal.

This is kind of a n00b style question, but what is the difference between the 9005 and 9005XL other than the base?

Yup... you need a set of harnesses for the H1 bulbs, also i forget which bulbs are the high beams. 9005 or 9004 i think.

Yeah, you will need harness for both high beam (9005) & low beam (H1)....the stock harness (9007) is totally different so you will need those to wire them to your stock harness!!

Actually, if you want you can wire straight to the prongs of the H1 bulb... but it is recommended you use a harness as straight wiring can easily throw a short. If you do decide to wire straight to the prongs, it doesnt matter which prong gets positive and which gets ground... just be sure to wrap it in electrical tape or shrink tubing.
