Well that isnt made for a car anything like a civic probably, but these cars are somewhat similar. Specially the EVO 7 which i like better anyways. the EVO 8 has way more differences in body styles to me it looks like. Is there anyway you can get on AIM or talk through PM might be easier to chat?

aight, here's the OZ-E skinny...
this would be a purdy fun idea... i mean c'mon... evo7 hood (in my op.) is the sexiest ****ing vented hood out there.... the second sexiest is the evo8... mainly because it's a single vent... and i've seen the evo7 hoods up-close and personal, along with the evo8 ones...
i'll talk to my people about this, and see what can be done, groovy? and ppl that know me personally, know that i can pull a few strings

How easily would EVO 7 or EVO 8 fenders fit on are lancer? I know the EVO 8 is wider so i dno about that one that would need a lot of molding but what about the EVO 7 fenders. It would be hard enough finding some or atleast for me but how easy do u think it would be to get those bad boys on?

this conversaton if going in circles.. first he asks for our opinion, then he goes on to discount that opinion by saying thinks like "i don't think it would cost that much", etc..
with enough time and money, anything can be made to bolt on to anything else.. it's a matter of if you want to spend the money or not.
easiest way to do it is to look at the evo under the hood, at the headlight sections and then look at yours.. you will see that it's vastly different and will require new bumper supports, etc

This is what i found out from a diff forum and the dates were a year ago.
LANCER CEDIA (JPN):
length=4480mm x width=1695mm x height=1430mm
LANCER EVO VII (JPN):
length=4455mm x width=1770mm x height=1450mm
2002 LANCER OZ RALLY EDITION (USA):
length=4511mm x width=1695mm x height=1394mm
overall, the US Lancer is roughly 2" longer, width wise 3" shorter than the EVO VII, and roughly 2" shorter than the EVO VII
in conclusion, your'e probably looking at a loss of 1.5" for both left and right side if installing the JDM EVO VII style front bumper to the US Lancer. Nothing a wide fender flare kit can fix
You guys agree or disagree with this guy?

you know what....... this is definitely possible...
Why?? im basing my guess on the new SUV show craze .....
people having Ford expeditions with Lincoln navigator Front hood fender, grill ect.. so it looks like an expedition in the back and a navi in the front (or any other suv of choice Hummer ect,)
So bro why not an Evo7 or 8 front end?? It can be done with the right shop and the right price!!

This question is just proving the Evo owners right when they say Lancer owners are just trying to make their cars look like an Evo. Get a body kit, maybe an E7 kit but don't try to make it look like an Evo 8. Get one thats origianl and made for the Lancer. Why make your car something it's not. The Evo7 is not made in the US so it's looks cool but making a stock Lancer look like an Evo8 which can be bought in the US just seems ricey. Plus the front of the Evo8 looks to much like a Pontiac IMHO (I'm sure I'll get flamed for that one). Now there should be a front end conversion to make the E8 look like an E7.
