It will be 4k total watch, besides my car won't look like a stock evo like the 600 dollar pos looking conversion. I'm going to get a body kit for the EVO, not a stock evo front etc. They will be made to change the EVO 7 besides, i'll be running 300whp so if they look at my engine they'll notice i'm a challange and probably faster.

When do you plan on doing all this and how the heII do you plan on affording it if your a kid thats still driving with his mommy. If your planning on making a stock Lancer run 300hp you're gunna need alot more than 4k and just an Evo body kit alone is gunna run you $1200 atleast. A good body shop can charge 1-2k just to install and paint a bolt-on body kit. You're talking custom work it's gunna be alot more than that. Plus $1000 for Evo headlights, cost of front and rear fenders, and bigger rims to make it look decent. Lets just say you paid $12,000 for your car, You spend more like $8,000 on custom body work, turbo or supercharger, upgrades to make a stock Lancer be able to hande 300hp, plus all the labor for everything, and trust me body and engine work is not cheap. Add all that together and your at $20,000 for a car with no warrenty. 2-4k more and you'de have a used Evo.

Just to give you some idea of body/engine labor my last car was a Honda CRX you can check it at: http://www.onlineshowoff.com/index.a...rname=h8yourv8
It is almost $10k worth of work in both body/engine and paint. These are some of the most easy to work on tuner cars out there. After all that money it still was only had about 150hp. I ended up with a ricey, somewhat slow car. Thats whats gunna happen if you focus on looks before performance. If you've got $4k invest in a supercharger or turbo and buy a good looking $600 bodykit
Just my $.02
