** PICS ** red interior lights
here's yet another thread made by yours truly.. i got bored and decided to red-out my interior lights. getting to the radio bulbs was really annoying, but i managed. if i knew wut i was doing, it would have taken an easy 30 minutes for everything, but i ended up using a full hour. enjoy the pics! thanks to JTC for the red theatrical gel!!

it matches pretty damn good.. almost exact. i'll try and snap a pic tomorrow with everything in sight.. but as long as it's red, its all good.. i just hated the contrast of the red gauges and the white climate/radio controls..

for the climate controls and the clock, i just followed the how-to's in the how-to thread made by JTC. as for the radio.. first, i took out the circuit board behind the faceplate. then, i took out the blue colored condoms off the 8 little bulbs inside. then i put little red colored gels on top of the bulbs and taped it down. as for the screen, i just taped two layers of that red theatrical gel used for the clock mod. i'll do a write-up tomorrow with pics..

i spent like 5 bucks on the bulbs for the climate controls, the shifter, ashtray, and cig lighter. then i spent another 2 bucks on the red gel caps for the radio buttons and 3 bucks for the red filter for the clock and the radio display. so all in all, its only 10 bucks plus an hour of my time.. if anyone wants me to do this for them, lemme know.. it'll run you a small fee
