Right now i dont have enough money to buy a whole new set of rims and tires but the current hub caps are driving me insane. have any of u tried just getting new hubs and if so what kind look good. Lets try to keep the bashing down to a minimum because i realize most of you wouldn't even consider this

dont even spend your 30 bucks or whatever, who cares how the stock hubs look cause that's how all the lancer ES's look. just take it like a man and start saving for rims and tires.

Man, if you clean up your stock black steel, and use a good wheel polish, even they can look pretty good...if you have a dark colored car anyone.

Don't let anyone give you ****. Man, my Tercel sported some of the tightest 12" hubcaps on the planet.

Yup, be like the rest of us, take a car you're already in debt for, and put yourself further into the hole by using some credit and get some sick *** wheels. If you're serious though, the auto parts stores, wal-mart, k-mart, hobo on the corner can all get ya some.

Haha I can see it now...he'll be driving down the freeway and his front wheels cave in because they can't support the weight

Actually one member of this board painted his stock hub caps black and the in the middle red. Looked pretty good.

YEah, dont waste $30-50 on hubcaps. I wanted to buy some new wheel covers too, but i'm just going to save up for rims. you can buy wheels and tires both cheap these days at like $600 or 700...wheels/tires/mounted/balanced, shipped to your place for free. Save your money, take it like a man- we bought the ES..nmothing we can do. haha. I hate having NO ground effects, but thats cool. i'll get some when the time comes
