Fiberglass Body Kits
Ive been looking around for body kits for the 02 lancer and all the nice ones i find are all made of fiberglass, Ive heard from some people that fiberglass isnt exactly the best material to get for your body kit, does anybody have more information about this ?

i've been driving around with a fiberglass bodykit for over a year now, and NO problems at all.
a magazine did a review on bodykit material, here's what they said.
fiberglass:
pros:
easy to prep/pain/work with (incase it dosent fit right)
easy to fix/repair (if cracked or broken)
does not flex under high speeds (sturdy)
cons:
weaker than urethane
urethane:
pros:
stronger than fiberglass
normally excellent fitment
cons:
flex's under high speeds
can be difficult to prep/paint/work with
cannot be fixed (if cracked or broken due to flexing)
if it does not fit...... your stuck (make sure its a reputable company)
thats about what the magazine stated. i've wrote this before, but they stated that japan's top racers prefer fiberglass because it can be easily repaired, and it does not flex under high speeds. both materials are great. honestly either way you cant go wrong in my opinion.
