woke up this mornin, and my lowering springs had arrived at my door..can't wait to install these babies, it'll probably have to wait till tomorrow since i'm goin to a blindside concert tonight, but here are the pics..best thing is they are a powdercoated deep blue, it'll go great with my whole engine scheme color

they are springtech and the drop is 1.8"

 

Cool, can't wait to see them on the ride...I have Progress springs now but I like the color of those springtech ones better.

i got a ?, if you lower it 1.8 inches, will it ruin your shocks, cuz getting tein coilovers is hella expensive....

i've heard RRM say that anything over 2 inches will ruin the shocks .. 1.8 should be okay, but honestly thats a chance ya take with lowering springs.

 

there have been people that lowered it on eibach which is 1.2 i belive and have blown their shocks...it all depends on how you drive

 

well if it comes to that, then i'll just have to get new shocks i guess..but i really don't drive it hard autocross stlye, this is mainly just for looks and a lower stance

 

I had my car slammed nearly 3 inches (couldn't fit a finger between the tire and the wheel well at all) all last summer and my struts are fine. My tires got eaten up by negative camber though.
