Yeah, it's a ***** to get it off. If you use spray glue to hold your mat down the glue will act as a mold lubricant when it heats up from the resin...try it. It works

OMG... WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... The adrenaline is running... fuuckin omg. I got the **** out. FINALLY! Here are some pix...
Slim saw blade used to help free the mold before the tugging and cursing began
Drill with cutoff wheel used to trim the sides to allow the saw blade to go in
File i tried to use but broke prying the mold out
The **** (mold)
Another pic of the mold
Underside the mold
I gotta get ALL that tape off
15 minutes later... voila
Didnt get ALL the tape but got the majority of it
Inside of the mold, I still need to do 2-3 more layers on both sides to strengthen it
Aftermath of the trunk. My dynamat is still intact, no resin seeped through... YAY!!!!
Tomorrow I begin re-inforcing the mold more. My target is to get the bottom to support my weight (220 pounds) when i stand on it.

Hey guys... sorry for not updating... my uncle passed away , not a very fun time for me. Couldnt get myself to get back to work for a few days. Here we go again...
Here's the shot of the mold after it's been trimmed to fit. (Notice all the lighter spots are air bubbles. Those are BAD... I need to sand them down and re-inforce the area with another layer or so.)
Another shot of the trimmed mold.
These are the supports that will hold the trim rings up. You'll see what i mean in a lil bit (when im done gluing the trim rings together).
Making the trim rings. Tools needed: Brain (Calculator could substitute brain), Ruler, sharpee, and a jigsaw or a rotozip (Get the rotozip circle attatchement, that thing cuts down this step's time quite a bit).
One ring cut out.
Better view of above picture.
from left to right, back to front (bottom of the mold, sketch, trim rings *unglued*, color swatch for steel frame powdercoating, trim ring supports.)
This is all i can manage for today... 'till next time.

Sorry for your loss, kreme, PM me if ya need anything! (btw, looks like Erikson (the people who distribute dynamat up here) says you need to be an "authorized" dealer to get product in, so no Dynamat at cost for me! )
Looks good, tho! BTW - router w/circle jig is ideal, roto zip takes forever...
