Teins SS Coilovers same for OZ and ES?

hey guys, im going to try and install some tein super street coilovers on my lancer ES. These coilovers previously came off an OZ model.

My question is....will this fit with no problems or will I need to get an adapter piece? Or will they just not work at all?

I emailed Rob at RRM and he said they are basically the same but they need to be installed differently. Anyone on here ever try this?

Does anyone know what he's talking about with the install being different. Or do I need to buy another piece to make the install different?

Any insight into this would be a great help, and hopefully I can use these cuz I'd hate to have to go out and get different ones if these wont work.

I can't see how the Super Streets would need to be installed differently.... you need to reuse just the upper mount, and those are the same on both. The install should be the same.

Maybe you should call RRM and find out for sure what's different..... but I can't think of what that wuold be...

You mean the upper mount on the ES is different than the OZ? I don't mean the perch, I'm talking about the triangular plate with the hole in it .... Bizarre....

do i need a vin number to get this part or can i just go there and order them without it. Cuz whenever I order something from the dealership and they ask for my vin, they ask for my name and address as well. Not sure why they do this but they do.

Also the specific name of the piece is an isolater?

Can you explain how this piece is different on the OZ compared to the ES?

That's what I'm saying- I can't see how the ES upper mount- the plate with the 3 holes in it- could be any different than the OZ or RA. Here- jack up the front and try installing one of the fronts. Let us know if it works If it doesn't, I'll put you at the top of my list of people to sell my OZ mounts to if my camber plate idea works.
