alright, well this is f*ckin homo right here. Go to www.rennenmotors.com and find the item. You will see it says 2 units in stock (there was 3 before i ordered) I called them today to see if my item would be shipped today, and they said its NOT IN STOCK!!! WTF IS W/ THAT... anyhow, they say that the order will need to be processed, and then they will order it from golden apple/nex and it will be 2 to 3 weeks! I am not in any hurry, but that sure does keep me in f*ckin suspense....

Thier web site lies. Call for availability, FYI. They have these springs on ebay like crazy too, and it does state in the auction that they have to order them from the wholesale provider or whatever...

- Just lame... if they arent in stock... SAY IT!

Depending on how this transaction turns out, i may or may not buy from again. I am going to call goldenapple right now to see if i can order directly.

Angry

Here is the scoop.

Rennen motors orders thier parts fro a whole sale company "golden apple" I called Golden Apple directly and they say 2-3 days to get my item to Rennen Motors. I call Rennen back and told them.

The way Rennen does it, is they have a batch order w/ golden apple, and receive the order on weds, meaning the order probably ships out on mondays, So if my order doesnt make it in by 3pm (normal CA UPS pick up time) Rennen wont even have them untill NEXT wednesday. I am going to call back in an hour to check on thier progress.

It says on thier web site that its in stock, as a company, you eat the costs, and get it to the customer as quickly as possible due to your false advertizing.

PS, I am a horrible customer. Why? Because I am a Support Specialist myself!

----The company seems good on the phone, willing to work w/ me, im just a harsh SOB. ------

nex coilover feedback

first the install is straight foward, just have to have the right tools, i followed the direction from http://mypron.com/mainmenu.htm. started doing last weekend and hard to stop due to family crisis, so yesterday i just took it to my mechanic and they installed it for $75. to be honest i tested the car today drove from san diego to long beach (1hr 20mins) the ride is better than my stock struts, it's a little bit harsh on very rough roads. the handling of the car has improved dramatically, i felt convident turning and cutting thtough traffic at 100mph+. the car responds more readily, unlike before when you turn left the body leans right. to sum it all the suspension is very good, not bumby, or loose. also there is no kind of annoying noises from the strut and springs. just have to learn to drive a little bit slower of ruff roads. here are some pics i could take, also i do not think i need an alingment kit, cause the tires are straight.

is that your brake line zipped tied to your shock/spring assembly?

i know the teins have little brackets for you to bolt the brake line to (in the stock location) so you dont' have to do anything like that

anyone know whether the NEX full coilovers fit the ES models or just the OZ? Because if it's a nice set up then it'd save me some $ and be a nice mod

I've heard that since the NEXs replace everything (top mount) that these will work on both OZs and ESs since they differ in the top mounts.
