I put 1/3" inch wheel spacers on with the stock rims... looks better with wheels further out to fenders! Pepboys refused tko install them even though they sell them! something about wheels falling off..

I use 1" spacers for racing, improves handling but amplifies any vibration you might have, with 205 tires and evo suspension rear tires rub the fenders in corners. with 1/3" you might not have that problem but you'll wear your bearings quicker and fell more vibration as they wear.

one guy on the RA forums put wheel spacers on his car, and I think it actually looks pretty good to me. But if its gonna cause things to wear out quicker than I wouldn't do it. Is it just for looks to get rid of fender gap? here's the link for the thread of his car wit pics.

wheels spacers basically look like a big washer with holes to fit over your lugs.. they go between your disc/drum and wheel.. hence wheel spacer..

If you have front spacers and stock rear, your car will handle a bit better. The others are right about wheel bearings, but IMHO they're easy to replace though.
