TEIN S.Tech springs??
Hi.
Will the TEIN S.Tech springs work on non-OZ Lancers? My friend is looking to lowering his ES and I can get my hands on a set of S.Techs but not sure if they will work on Lancer ES. TEIN website says OZ Rally.
Can someone help me out please.
What other springs work on ES?

they will work, but you need some parts from your dealer...top mount, bearing and bottom spring mount. Rear shocks are the same as OZ so nothing changes there.

im not sure how much they cost but it should be too expensive at all, good choice with TEIN, your investing in a spring thats OF QUALITY....sorry raul but im just gonan have to tell him that the progress and the arospeed springs are the worst springs for the lancer and that the TEIN and eibach are damn good.

Guys... how is the ride on these things (S-Techs)? I don't mind a kind of stiff feel the every bump ride... but I don't want to have a bouncy car... I hate it when i drive behind a riced out civic and it looks like thing is vibrating with how much it bounces up and down after every bump... your thoughts? I'm staying with stock shocks for now... so just wondering!

I think I figured out why we don't have any spring rates for any of the eibach or progress springs... and we do for the Tein's... and it explains why some people have told me that they are quite stiff and somewhat prone to the "bobble head doll" effect that you often see on riced Civics... turns out that that Tein springs are not truly progressive springs. Linear response on them (hence the specific spring rate)... so they likely don't have the ride quality that you may be looking for... kind of has shied me away from them now... dang it!
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!
I also may have a line on a really cheap place to get Eibach springs.. I'll let you guys know if it turns out good.
