sorry i went off topic in my last post... that kinda looks like the same thing i did to my lancer... if you can... get under it and see if you snapped the control arm... if you don't know what it is.. its shaped like an A and connects to the bottom side behind your rotor....

If thats not it.. I am not sure what all you did

I had a similar crash a few years ago on my Plumouth l;aser, I hit a curvbe when it was raining.

From looking at the pic it looks like you probably need:

1) a front tire because the internall wires on the tires are probably snapped
2) you want to have your rims look at it because from the impact it could be bent
3) Definately I think your front right suspension arm is bent/pushed backwards
4) Your CV joint could be salvage, I think the noise is coming from because of great gap now left after the impact(the axle is streched)

I am not an expert but I can almost confirm 3 out of 4 of the discrepancies I mentioned to you.

The control arm is not pricy, maybe around $125, installing it maybe one hour.
The tires are cheap, you only need one. The CV join maybe fixable, I think is just making noise because it steched out.
Last but not least, the rim also might not be damaged.

Good luck I hope I helped you to clarify your problem.

to clarify more info, i was going about 10mph when i hit the curb, i hit it dead on the side ( power slide into it )

okay to just be honest about it, i was doing donuts and stuff in the mall parking lot, i was sliding around in reverse, tossed it into drive and pulled the e-brake when i was going forward, my car went sideways and slide right into a curb

i tried to drive it home even though it sounded like it was bumping around a little ( i only live like half a mile away ) i got into the street and at the first light when i stopped, the car wouldn't start moving again, i turned the car off and when i turned it back on OH GOD THE NOSE WHAT THE HELL IS THAT??? it sounded REALLY bad like I had a chunk of metal in my engine and was revving that **** out of it, when i shifted to drive it was even worse, i put it back in park but it didnt stop so i shut the car off and called AAA

also, i have learned my lesson and will not be playing around in the snow anymore*

until it snows again*

I did the same.

Control arm - You'll be replacing it. I promise. (DIY it, it's easy)
CV joint - not sure. Some people break theirs. I just damaged the boot, so that was a cheap fix.
Wheel/tire - looks OK to me.

Otherwise, see if anything physically looks bent.

OT, i bent a rim in my old grand am, and it f*up the cv boot, it looked bent a little too, but i never changed it. all i had to do was bend the rim back in,steelies, and put the tire back on, then a month later got a new tire. and i wasnt doing donuts, i was throwing beer bottles out of my window, and at 5mph i slammed into a 6in curb and popped over it. sorry to hear your probs. the tire looks like it was pushed back a couple inches toward the rear

wow .. this is so werid .. i hit the curb yesturday too ... i have a big mark on my rim like 2 inchs long ... and my alignment is off ... besides that i dont think nething is wrong ... but now this really scares me if just hitting a curb could do this much ...

*** i was a stop and making a left hand turn when i did my car flew to the other side so to stop it from going into the curb on the driver side i turned it left and hit the gas and then it went left and i couldnt stop it and it hit the curb ...

** keep us updated on what happens .. i would like to know ...

new pics coming up soon..

the thing dragging was the freaking axel, it bent, rubbed the craddle, heated up, and snapped in half

need new axel obviously, control arm, and craddle because the integrity of the structure has been comprimised, also new strut because it was bent back i guess
