I have seem pics of the Eibach pro kit installed on a lancer and it really didnt look dropped. They would be best for your stock shocks.

Agreed. From everything I've heard, Eibach is the best. It's not 100% safe, but it's the best one out there for keeping the struts alive.

was just pulled over on the highway a couple days ago, cop said my car was too bouncy and it is very unsafe. I told him i am getting fed up with the bounce and need to replace my shocks but i didn't really have much choice if i wanted my car lowered. after reading this thread my lie realy is true, damn lancer! so it seems there are only two choices...1. replace with stock or 2. expensive coilovers???? any other choice??

drive carefully with progress springs or something not very low.

CeeBee - try to convert the GR-2 shocks for ESs to your OZ? Give RRM a call and see what they can suggest.

I've had tein s-techs on my o3 OZ for about 3 years now and still have a decent ride.
