Tire Size P215/45R17 - Clearance Issues?

I just got brand new tire and wheel package from tirerack. They look amazing and the car feels glued to the road, it's like transformed. Kosei K1 TS wheels with Kumho ECSTA ASX tires. Anyways does anyone have tires sized 215/45P17 and experienced slight rubbing of the back part of the wheel well when turning? I wonder if this is because my car is lowered 1" in the front.

With the combo of tire height and width and lowered, you only experience slight rubbing? Cool, most people say they rub with 205 w/ 45's or 215 w/ 40 or 35s. You'll keep hearing that with that size. Either go back to stock springs, or just deal with it...

Yeah I'm going to live with it. I have a feeling that once I've put enough miles on the tires, they'll wear away and the rubbing will stop. Don't know what the tread depth measurement is on new tires. It might just be rubbing away the accumulated crud built-up on the wheel well a. Which I could care less about.

tread depth on a new asx is about 11/32nds you shouldve went to like a tire shop and test fitted thats what i would do . ya sure it wont rub soon after you put 10k on the tires or excessivaly burn out or brake . the rubbing with go away after the tire has rubbed enough and messed up the tire
