Wheel Hub....Which one?

Wheel Hub....Which one?
ok so i need a new passenger side, rear wheel hub. my current one looks a something like this. Notice the bent spokes
so i've looked around and i've found these two things
Wheel Hub Assembly:
http://oem.thepartsbin.com/parts/the...ry=All&dp=true
Wheel Hub
http://oem.thepartsbin.com/parts/the...20Hub&dp=false
you can see one is more expensive than the other. Which is why im checking into this. The regular wheel hub says "front" but not rear, and the assembly says "rear" but not front. So im assuming I HAVE to get the whole hub assembly for the rear, or can the regular front hub just be used???

I had to do this with my Civic. Yes i think they are just mounted through holes in the hub itself. Get a big hammer and a little bit of time and hammer them back through the holes. When you put the new ones in make sure you have an air Impact gun. Youll need it to pull the new studs into place. Put the new studs in the holes and pull them as tight as you can with your hands. Then put a STEEL wheel on and put the lugs on the studs. Then have at it with the impact gun until the back of the studs is solidly against the hub. It will probably take a few tries. My Civic did.

ok sweet, thanks for the help lads.
3 questions.
1. Can i use the spare wheel in the trunk when tightening up with lug nuts?
2. Do i HAVE to have an air impact gun?
3. Does the wheel hub itself have to be removed for this process, if so can i get it off with a wrench or do i need air tools?

1. Yes it can be used
2. Yes you will need an Impact gun of some sort. I said air because i know they are the most powerful.
3. no i dont belive that the hub has to be removed for this although i am not really sure. i did this on a '89 Civic HB. there should be enough room behind it to remove the bent studs. If not see if you can remove the debris shield.

I went through the same thing only recently...went to get my tires rotated and one of the lugs was already broken so they made me fix it. I had already purchased 2 studs but never got the chance to put them in. go to a local shop and in taking off the lugs, i broke another stud.
The mechanic finished the job in half hour. He removed the brakes and all and used a bunch of washers when tightening the new stud in instead of getting the spare out of the trunk.
