What brand tires on 2008 Lancer GTS?
I'm strongly leaning towards buying a new Lancer, the GTS.
My parents asked a question last night, one I couldn't answer.
What kind of stock tires does the Lancer come with? I'm guessing it's different between the GTS and the DE and ES based on the size of the tires. But when I test drove the GTS I didn't think to check.

^Hopefully ones better than the "Yuckos" the OZ came with! I got nails, saw blades, razor blades in all those tires from the bad construction around here. But thanks to Discount Tire and their "tire insurance", I only paid $16 a tire to replace each one.

The GTS comes with Dunlop SP 5000 M, in size 215/45/18...like he said. They are V speed rated (149mph). Here's a lil pic of them.
DE & ES models come with Yokohama Avid S34, 205/60/16. They are more of a touring style tire. H speed rated (130 mph).
The BFGs you speak of are the G-Force KDW 2. They are an excellent tire, but do not come in the GTS size.

These GTS tires suck for Autocross.
It's pretty bad when the car is getting massive wheelspin and torque steer in stock trim. And when you're rolling over the sidewalls by a damn inch.
