Stock Brakes = TONS OF BRAKE DUST???

It Could Be Worse
I have a white GTS and it is not terrible. My fiancee and I bought a Lexus IS250 a few weeks back and it is horrible. I have to clean the wheels every couple days so it does not look like **** or ruin the rims.

Yeah, it's pretty noticeable over the course of a week between washings, two weeks especially. Mostly up front. Wipes right off with a rag and simple green, but I need to get a brush that lets me get back past the front of the rim. PITA, but my last car (04 Pontiac GP) had it even worse up front (but not in back). At least with 18's on the GTS I can clean em up easier than the 16's on my GP with the brakes so tight inside the rim diameter.

RRM does sell replacement pads. Not sure on what brand they have (but I know it's not Porterfield; I was told those are coming in the future).
I haven't noticed it being too bad. But coming from my last car with Hawks, I guess it's just a personal difference.

My GTS isn't bad at all. Considering the braking performance it has, the dust is great. My turbo tC has horrid dust from the Axxis ultimate pads I had on it. The GTS is a blessing for me compared to that haha...
And yeah the IS has pretty bad brake dust.

i havent notice much dust at all, but i guess my problem is that i only drive about 150 miles a week, and wash my car every week... my mustang was horrible compared to this, i am actually pretty happy with the lack of dust i am noticing

Just be glad you dont own an evo. Ive never had a car with as much brake dust.On my gfs lancer we havnt noticed anything out of the norm. There are tons of spokes on the stock wheels and the face is pretty full. With the fcew washes so far, like I said I saw nothing different than the other daily drivers at my house.
