As for any difference in handling with the new links, only if you're existing ones broke all the way. I've noticed NO difference. I'm going for the rear strut bar, and control arm bar from RRM for the rear...and if I still want more support, then I can justify going for the beefier rear sway bar and tougher end links.

Wonder if my local hardware store sells the bolts, washers and sleeve in stainless, then it would last a lifetime !

Make sure to use only Grade 8 fasteners. Anything else will break from the stress long before it rusts out.

even if you can't find the stainless sleeves, at least when the sleeves rust they won't fuse to the bolts

ES supplies their kits with only grade 5 bolts. Hardware stores sell grade 3 bolts, so I think grade 5 is good enough.
