This is why you need to inspect your end link bushings!
In horrible condition...
In "ok" condition...
Side-by-comparison...
Used my new $20 (AutoZone) Energy Suspension end link kit
P/N : 98120R
...and they are awesome! Much more solid in the turns; one of the best/cheap improvements. Others have installed the new kit as-is, but the center sleeve between bushings is just too long. I used the stock sleeve instead since it's in prefect condition and allowed a much simplier install than forcing it together.
And since I don't care to make another thread, I'll just add this here. Some know how the Evo's front stock suspension works great on our Lancers, so I picked up a cheap used set. If you do, you NEED to get the Evo camber adjustment bolts (OEM [$11] or aftermarket)! Even after only a couple weeks I noticed the inner passenger-side tire wearing more than it should. Just a word of advice...

Yep, honestly w/o the wheels on it's easier than an oil change! But just like I said above, I used the factory sleeve instead of the ES one cuz it's much shorter and allows for a much easier install. Yes, completely bolt-on; about a 10 minute job with the wheels off.
Now I have to get a set for the rears, cuz I have one that looks exactly like the bad one pictured. Odd, both "bad" ones are on the driver-side...

Yeah, you'll see them just from taking off the tires. Mine were broken, apparently the stock ones are very prone to rust. If they're still somewhat intact, you can literally just unbolt them and put on the new ones, if not, you'll have to cut them off like I did.

End links are what connect your sway bar to the control arm...both front and rear.
The rears will only use a half set of this kit, cuz...well, if you look you'll see why.

see something wrong here?
so I checked mine today and sure enough. One is busted. Im guessing I can still drive it like that though cant i? and it looks like that bottom part is broken off. the new part is the whole assembly right? I couldnt find the rear ones. The ESs dont have those in the back correct?
Does anyone know what that clip is in the second pic that im pointing at? its on the back of the rotor guard.
