Wheel size, and drop..

Was looking around. Still trying to figure out.. 16s 17s or 18s.. and width..

already have some tein s-tech springs on my car(2002 silver OZ), going to upgrade after i get rims.(megens coilovers more then likely)

the normal for lancers seems to be 17x7.5 i think.. with 205/40/17 tires..
asked around, and i thought brians car looks sick, he says there 16s. but those are some mad low profile tires on them still.. any ideas?
(i am trying to get basically as low as he is. if not just a tiny bit more)

basically want to know..
opinions on size & WIDTH vs drop.. are those really 16s? and what tire size. because most lancers i see with 16s, still look like they have retardedly large tires.

oh ya.. im looking at just getting some flat black rota slipstreams or exel race rims(basically same thing). -- (figured i would go smaller size rim with these) (and yes i realize there basically Spoon SW388, and i might spend the extra money and get those instead)

or bronze or all flat black: 5zigen Fn01r-c. (figured i would go bigger wheels with these)

SO WHATS YOUR OPINION. (on those rims, + my other questions)

Size is up to you, I hate the look of giant rims on a non-aggressive car like the lancer but some people like it. Style is also up to you, I had the slipstreams and liked them. Color is also up to you, I had bronze and thought it looked nice on my grey lancer. For yellow I'd probably go with black though for contrast.

well my lancers silver. was just useing brians yellow lancer as an example. anyone know his tire size for 16s... (or what they more then likely are)
(side note) i think his rims look sick with how his car is setup, wouldnt use those rims myself. but i think he made it look good. its really agressive looking.

i have 17x7 enkeis with 205/40/17 42 offset. dropped on Ksport coilovers. I rub my fender, fender liner and on full turn I rub the inside fender wall a lot. I could space them out but that would meen rolling my fenders. I just havnt rented a roller yet. pic of my drop. I went higher in the rear fr a bit of a staggered stance.

I have 18x7.5 and no drop and have not noticed any rubbing or visible rubbing. I don't plan on a drop either unless it is a Tein set with edfc.
