Lancer Rotors

I'm in need of new rotors, again. and pads.. I got a pair of ultimate axxis pads, i will put them on when i get the rotors. couple other guys i ride with have them, and have no complaints..

My car is mostly for curvey back roads and track, I can get my brakes glowing within a few miles. (some fun roads in alabama) so i go through brakes pretty fast..

anyways.. anyone have suggestions on a set of rotors? rrm slotted rotors.. or brembo slotted rotors.. or something else..

The ones you mentioned will be fine, or just go with Brembo blanks...I have Axxis ULTs w/ Brembo blanks. Feels exactly the same as it did with the Brembo slotted rotors I used with ULTs.

I would imagine slotted rotors would wear down your pads faster wouldnt they?

nah. they actually help a little with slowing wear on the pads.. help lower the pad temp, and also help with getting gases out.

im just not sure.. brembo slotted rotors... or the rotors that rrm sells..

Anyone have a good suggestion on a type of synthetic brake fluid to use instead of whatever is in it now?

Given how you run through rotors, I'd go with whichever you can get cheaper.

I'm a HUGE fan of ATE Super Blue fluid. And also their Super Gold, of course. (Two different colors are offered because then it makes it REALLY easy to tell when to stop bleeding).

nah.. there small rotors.. so drilled is not a good idea.. they will crack easy.. slotted is the best..
i ended up ordering the brembo slotted rotors.. and i have my axxiss ultimates waiting them..

hopefully ifeverything i ordered comes in.. ill be installing my new rims+tires pads and rotors all on wednesday or friday night.. (stupid black friday i have to work 4am till 10pm. boohoo) so HOPEFULLY wednesday night other wise i might have to wait till saturday or later.. would suck. but whatever... ill get some pics up of my new setup.
