Up to a point. You can change the dampening, but you can't actually smooth out the ride (except by changing the springs).
If you've ever ridden on coilovers, you know that changing the dampening doesn't do a whole lot. I had Teins with EDFC on my last car, and a change from full stiff to full soft was pretty hard to feel except when racing (which is the whole point, I suppose).

when you mount the rear coilovers is there a spot in the trunk where you can see the top of em to adjust the damping rate? cause when i took it apart to mount the rear strut bar i dont remember seeing anything like that. and also what kinda front strut bar is that i see mounted on top of the coilovers?
