The best answer would be:

No, they won't bolt up, even with minor modification. But if you have the ability to make custom brackets and get custom brake hoses, it'll probably work.

The brake calipers for the X are the same as the calipers on the VIII/IX. If the spindles on a Lancer and X are the same, then there will be a factory brackets to use Evo brake calipers on a Lancer.

Dealers should have parts lists for the X by now.

The Lancer spindles are integrated with the hub/wheel bearing. I'd expect that the EVO X spindle will follow suit with the VII/VIII/IX design and be a two-piece element with a replaceable hub. The design should still allow you to transfer the EVO X spindle/hub to the front of the Lancer (re-using the original strut and control arm) providing steering geometry is the same. I'm waiting for the software update to confirm this (and other bits).

The Brembos are close to the GTS spindle, but you can't get both bolts in. The rears are pretty far off.

Cool

The gts brakes are more than good enough. With a great amount of power comes the need for greater stopping power and the lancer isn't as fast to require even bigger brakes.
