Protecting Rims

Well got my Enkeis today...and wow they look nice...was backing out of my garage and had to make a sharp turn and scraped a little spot on my brand new rims against the cement step..its ok tho..just on the very very edge on the lip so if you look at it you cant see it unless you know were its located...and even then you can hardly see it..but would anyone know how to protect that scrap from anyinthg bad happening like coroding or anything? im pretty sure that bad stuff can happen to them with that scrap? or does it have to be bigger..liek i said its small but just wondering..im guessing nothing will happen as long as i keep them clean but i just want to make sure...thanks all

if you just want to protect them...i would pick up a small touch-up bottle of clear coat and apply it.

it will keep everything from getting to the metal

If you want to protect them, don't let the women in your life drive the car! Ouch, the truth hurts!

Yeah, it's sad...but true in my case. Within the first month I had the rims on the car, she smashed the car into a concrete barrier. The rim needed a $120 job to fix the lip and repaint. Then there's the various times she curbed the rims and such.

Maybe if she was the one fixing these problems, washing the car, repairing the car, modding the car she would have more of a sense of wanting to "protect" the entire car like I do?
