G.R.I.P springs?

I was thinking about getting them they lower the car the most from specs. Any pros and cons about them compaired to Tien and H&R? I saw other threads and it was 20 million people arguing I would just like to get a straight answer from someone that knows you stuff.

of course get Tein

Japanese stuff are always trustworthy and reliable, quality+ peformance guarennteed

Trust me, rather spend a little bit higher price to get a better brand, dont forget it is for long term use on your vehicle

ex. My greddy exhause is expensive...but im gonna use it for couple years, so who cares, i took a look at RRM exhaust, and i reacted....errrrr....no thx.......
For 2008+ Lancers.....
Air Intake = always Injen/K&N
Exhuast= always Greddy/ Injen
Suspension= Tein

of course, if your budjet is limited, get cheaper stuff for cheaper quality

forgot to tell 1 thing

im also considering get lowering springs, but note that your shocks wont last long, so better save up $ for coilover

springs+ labour= arround $600 ( play play for 2-3 years and suspension down)

Coilover+ labour= 1300-1500<- (last longer and if u get pulled by cops cuz the height is too low, u can always self change and set the height

Im financing my lancer, im gonna drive it for next 5-7 years+
if you are leasing, and returning the car to dealership after 3-5years then just do whatever u want

It comes down to what kind of ride you want. There is no reason to think that Tein springs are any better than say H&R or RRM, they don't use some super fantastic JDM metal when making them.

I can install them myself. Also RedGTS their are only 2 actual makers of exhause Magnaflow,Greddy, APEXI and a couple others are exactly the same and Flowmasted injen and the other larger brands are all made out of the same warehouse. Anyways I am just asking about the ride I know some of the springs are rwally bouncy I dont want that.

What are you talking about, Greddy, Apexi and Magnaflow are not the same, for one, Magnaflow is american while Greddy is Japanese (owned by Trust).

I went to UTI in california and I went to their ware house.They are all produced in the same ware house they go down different conveyor belts and get stamped with the different brands and boxes and stickers. Their was a huge law suite a few years ago because someone bought a magnaflow exhaust and APXI came in the box not they have 20 employees to check each box to make sure its the right stuff look it up.

Just because it comes from Japan doesn't mean it is the best thing in the world. This is coming from personal experience. I had a Greddy Evo II catback on my old Lancer. Talk about poor fitment and even worse customer service from Greddy. I ended up having to get a section of it slightly repent to make it fit.

In the end, the buyer needs to get what he or she thinks is right for them. A particular brand or country that the part is made really doesn't mean anything.

That doesn't mean their the same. All beef comes from cattle but a fillet mignon tastes far different than a McDonald's cheeseburger.
