The 08 lancer uses the same Aisin 5 speed as in the Scion TC, so you can use the TRD and Quaiffe diffs made for that car.

I can't remember which one the Road Race car has, but I know its one of the above.

Idk, unless somebody confirms that that diff. will fit with no problems I wouldn't consider buying it.

I highly doubt Goodsport Racing is just guessing, guys...

You'll note he said he's "not sure which one RRM is using." He didn't say "I'm not sure if this will work."

Goodsport is this the correct one?

http://www.quaife.co.uk/Toyota-E350-ATB-differential

Edit: I just read this off a scion forum:

What aftermarket? Other than PhantomGrip, the TRD is it, as they bought the rights to rebadge the Quaife (meaning you can longer buy the identical Quaife-badged product).
Then this:

Quaife made an LSD for the tC first. TRD bought the rights to it, rebadged it and raised the price a bit. So the TRD LSD IS the Quaiffe unit.

I believe he said "Road Race" car as in the 24 hour Lancer they have, not Road Race Motorsports.

I meant the Road Race Engineering car, not my race car, and I'm not sure they actually installed it, I just know they had one.

I have confirmed that the transmissions between the Tc and Lancer are the same, and plan on buying a Tc diff for myself as soon as I have the $. As with anything once you go off the grid, surprises always lurk around the corner...

Any decent transmission shop should be able to take out the old one and measure before the new one is installed, allowing a return if it doesn't work.
