The single best mod anyone can do to a 08 lancer, the only debatable mod is a turbo kit.

kimchi....i'm pretty sure that's what it is....i never had coilovers in any of my cars

but if i'm correct, they replace your stock struts ?????

800 bucks is a good price for coil overs.....granted it's a good quality coil over, but 800 bucks is 800 bucks..........i dont know about you guys but i dont have 800 bucks lying around to just buy these outright.........wish i did, but lowpaying job + fulltime student = less money for dick morgan

gotta save up for a while for these bad boys

Yeah, pretty much. You can adjust them, but you can also "set it and forget it."

My spring install is MORE than enough. Honestly, once you assemble the coilovers, it'll be like this:

1. Remove the bottom two strut bolts.
2. Remove the brake hoses and speed sensor.
3. Remove the top three nuts.
4. Swap stock for coilover.
5. Put all nuts/bolts back on.
6. Set ride height, set dampening.
7. Put wheels back on, get alignment, enjoy.

All of which is easy and explained in the Megan instructions, no doubt.

How hard is it to actually adjust the height?
I'll need to do it atleast 2 times a year (raised for winter, lowered for summer)

Less than 5 minutes for each side to adjust. You'll need 3 things to adjust the height: floor jack, spanner wrench (should come with the kit coilover kit), and a measuring tape. Jack up the vehicle, loosen the lock nut, turn the strut's shaft to the desired length, measure the shafts new length, tighten the lock nut and drop the vehicle. Once your done with all 4, measure the highest point of the fenderwell to the center of the axle.

Now the question is, how many adjusting points does it have for dampening?

Brian/Rock - How stiff are these on the softest damper settings compared to a GTS?
