Rotor removal same on 03 es?

I'm going to change my front pads and rotors for the first time...I've searched rotor removal and found in the evo forums that you can remove the front rotors by hitting them with a rubber mallet or using two bolts to work the rotor off.

So my question is do the 03 es rotors remove the same way?

I think that's a pretty common technique for removing them, yeh.

A helpful hint is to put a little grease on the back of the rotor where it mounts to the hub. This will help out the next time you change your brakes so you don't have to keep swinging the hammer.

make sure when you put the new pads on, you apply some pad grease(or what ever it's called) on the side that contacts with the clips too~

^ Yes, or else you'll get noise from your pads sliding around in the calipers.
