^^ I love the 18" GTS rims, I would hate being without them for 4-6 months out of the year :-(

Would swapping tires on my rims twice a year really make that big of a difference or cause problems. Isn't that what a lot of people do....?

A lot of people (like me) have different sets of rims for different uses (winter, summer, track, etc).

That's what about thinking. It would be a lot easier if there's no TPMS on our car, because now we either take TPMS sensors out everytime when switching wheels/tires set or buy a separate set of TPMS sensors just for your other set of wheels/tires (in addition whenever you switch wheels, you will need to bring it to the dealer to reset the sensor).

Agreed, no TPMS!!! But it's mandated by law that manufacturers need to have it I've been going on about whether or not to pay to get the two sets of TMPS set twice a year....but as it looks right now, I'm just going to put up with the warning light to save $$$

Well..., you'll be just buying an additional TPMS set.

Walmart seems to have a good price when it comes to installation. I might go and ask about how much per TPMS if I purchase from them. In addition, I probably will go to my local Town Fair shop and ask about prices...

FYI, I contacted my dealer to get a quote on how much per TPMS sensor. The quote I received is $90.00 a piece. This is Central Mitsubishi in Rayhnam, MA.

Another update ...
I got a quote from a tire & auto service shop in Bridgewater, MA. They quoted me each TPMS sensor for $58 dollars including installation.

Mount & Balance is $20 dollars per tire.
Remove a tire and put them on new wheels, including balance is $25 dollars per tire.

I just purchased 225/45/18 Continental tires for my 09 Lancer. They are the ContiExtremeContact ultra high performance all-seasons.

I got these because they are rated the best all-seasons for ice, snow, and wet

summer shoes with summer rubber is the way to go. Dunlop Direzza ftw. Stock wheels with winter tires for the winter. Just jack and swap for seasons.

So we can fit 245/40/18 ? I'm lowered with TEINs and I'm running now 235/40 and are amazing...

Thing is, I just got my new tires like a month ago... I'm getting Volk CE28s with Falkens 245/40/18 for $1,500 and the Falkens are brand new.
