Winter tires and steel rims

I know no one wants to think about winter . But being from Canada unfortunately we have to think about these things .I was wondering has any one looked into this and know what size steel rims fits the 2008 gts ? I know the stock tires are poor for winter driving and I don't want to us the aluminum rims if I don't have to .

I will personally go with 16" steel rims with 205/60/16 Pirelli Winter Carving tires.

You can buy some at the dealer, but risk paying quite a bit too much. Auto Parts should have them. I will buy mine where the dealer buys theirs, I know the owner of the shop!

when i got my car its got a goodyear rsa on, they performed terrible on snow, i've got no traction at all. if thats the one u have right now defintely replace em before winter. check out craiglist (http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/pts/) u might find some used steelies that'll fit ur car.

I put 16' steeles and 205/60/16 Winterforce on my GTS last year for the winter and with all the snow we got they were great the 18s it comes with are really bad in the snow. Defently worth getting the extra set of rims and rubber for winter.
