Ok ive narrowed down the exact wheel size I want to go 18x8 with a 235/40-18 tire. I do not have the car lowered right now but I plan to get the RRM springs. What offset is going to work best. +46 or maybe something lower like +35, I dont want to have any rubbing issues on the inside or have to roll my fenders. Thanks for any help in advance.

I have a 16x7 with a offset of 40 on my car with a 2 1/2 inch drop and does not rub at all!
Just try to stick with a 205 tire and nothing bigger . Because a 215 will rub .

we have different cars. My stock tires are 215/45-18. So I have a little room to grow....this is a 08 lancer gts.

go for +46 offset and you wont have a problem... +46 is the offset of the stock rims aswell.. keep it as close to stock and you'll be fine..
