Gunmetal OEM 08 ES Lancer Rims

Painted these last night. What do you guys think? The color turned out pretty nice and clear is on fairly thick. Used a spray gun and compressor so i'm curious to see how it holds up as i put miles on them. Disregard the overspray. At 6am this morning i wasn't about to break out the mineral spirits and wash it all off. These took me about 6 hours to sand, prime, paint and clear.

Very nice job I'm liking the gun metal. I've been trying to decide if I should paint my wheels and what color, I have a GG es but I'm thinking Black would go with the GG. But the gm grey looks sick on the black!!!!! Finally pictures of painted es rims

It looks good. Gunmetal is a better choice than black, I'd say.

Yeah, i wanted to have some contrast on the car. black is good and all but you can have a little too much at times for sure. thanks for the compliments!

I like the drop on the Grips, they look great!

I've had the painted rims on for about 2 weeks now and they are holding up great so far. These are going to be my winter wheels basically so i need them to be fairly durable and so far so good. Looking into getting some aftermarket rims at the moment but the drop is coming first. Thanks for all the input!

Holding up great tbh. Im really suprised with how well they are doing but winter is coming so that'll be the true test. Have about 10k miles on them now. Still look like new and the cars sitting on teins now so its much lower. i'll get a new picture up for ya
