Adjustable Shocks?

So does anyone make an adjustable strut/shock for the 02-03 lancers?
My friend has some in his MR2 and I really like the idea of adjustability without going and spending a ton of money on coilovers.

I've never heard of any that were not coilovers.

Is cost the reason not to go with coilovers?

Alot of it yes. But on top of it my friends adjustable shocks are nicer then most coilovers ive ridden on. It might just depend.

For only 68 bucks you might as well stick soda cans under your car for suspension.

He's probably talking about shocks/struts with adjustable dampening like the KYB AGX, Koni Yellow, etc. It's a very solid option and is VERY common with most performance cars. They can indeed be a stronger combo then most "off the shelf" coilovers.

To my knowledge, there are really no options out there for the lancers. There's OE replacements, but no performance oriented struts.

Yes thats exactly what I was talking about. And considering i'm a college student i dont exactly have the cash to throw around like coilovers.
