How much brake fluid needed for a complete flush on 2003 OZ?
#3
dot 3, 4 and 5.1 are miscible, dot 5 is not miscible with others and should not be used in the lancer.
quantity is about 2 x 32 oz if you want to rinse thoroughly. I spent 1 bottle of 32 oz, but that included changing front calipers and hoses and thorough rinsing + purging.
for the price (1 bottle of 32 costs the price of 2 bottles of 12 ...) I' d buy two bottles of 32, and if you can make everything with just one, return the other

I have dot 4 in mine now and what I was fold is that it has a higher boiling point. So it would be better for auto x witch would mean that the fluid would keep its consistency longer under hard breaking. Again this is what I've heard from people at the auto parts store.

In principle Dot4 has a higher boiling point than Dot3 but has a higher hygroscopicity (i.e. it tends to abosorb more water, thus its boiling point fades more quickly).
Do you race with your car or anything ? If not, I'd personally go for the regular dot 3&4.

Just for reference, it took 1 32ounce bottle to flush the entire system, in case anybody is curious.

miscible is not a word. Mixable is. Spell check for the love of god.
