Toyo Proxes 4 review
OK, after driving some, let's go with some thoughts.
These are great, grippy tires. I damn near killed myself the first day because I was so used to the slippy Goodyears. Traction is certainly improved. Wet and dry traction are both very solid and the tires handle snow quite well. They aren't snow tires, but are rated for mud and snow and are a serious improvement. I feel safer and definitely more in control. Even with the bad weather Ohio has seen of late, I've had no problems getting around. I'd recommend these tires to anyone. And also Frisby tire (tswift on the boards) - good prices and fast shipping. This was a very good experience all around.
Now let's wait for Kontra's opinion, once he puts his to the test...

Keep the reviews coming because these are new tires and there isn't much out on the web yet.
Blacksheepdj: You actually use these in the snow? And they are an improvement over stock? I'm very impressed if these claims are true. Looks like I know which tires I'm getting when I get my 17s.

They aren't dedicated snow tires, but they are a definite improvement over stock. I have more traction even with the horrible conditions Ohio has seen this winter. And the improvement is just as much on dry. I love these tires. I fully recommend them.
