Noise coming from suspension?
I got my new 17"s installed and now I'm hearing a squeeking noise coming from the drivers side rear shock/spring. What could be causeing it? Sorry if it's already been posted, but I'm at work and I don't have time to search. I freaked out when I heard it on my way over.
Thanks
Thanks

i'd hate to go down the street one day with my axle broken in 2..

My suspension always creeks when my 17's are on... just the way of it... I have springs, sways, and strut bars on all the way around... but yeah... gets annoying! But it went away once it got cold out or something.

That better not be the problem, I've got less than 2k miles on it. Is there anything I could have damaged putting on the new rims?

Yes I've heard that the rear control arms are what squeeks/creaks. I don't see why that is such a big deal... Cars creak and make noise... They all get it eventually! Did they say what was wrong or what not with your OZ that they did it 4 times? or did you just have them replace it 4 times because of the squeek alone? I've also heard that you just have to have the joints lubed every 5,000 miles or better... not a real big deal.

it needed more than a lube..the bushings on the lower control arms keep going bad..the Creek is sooooooooooooooooooo loud that you can hear it over my intake and exhaust (there so loud you can hear the car 2 blocks away)...so I think the Cheeking noise is a big problem...if you only heard the noise you would agree with me....

yours is a bit worse than mine then . Mine was just an annoying creak that you heard when going over bumps, cornering etc... but not anything so obnoxious that it was perturbing or anything.
