I have the H techs on mine. They're a little stiffer and the drop is subtle. It has nice even wheel gap which I like. It's around an inch max on mine.

I have evo 8 front struts on my car so I used the springs from an OZ. I found them on amazon. I think there were a couple places to get the es set on there but I can't remember. Just search the part number you need and I should come up.

i have tein s techs on mine, and the ride is nice, just a tad bouncy but handles a lot better than stock. pretty much eliminates most of the wheelgap.

Too bad you don't live closer I have a set of S-techs in my garage right now for a 02-03 Lancer ES. I had them on for about a year and a half and loved them. I just upgraded to full tein coilovers.

im not sure the s-tech springs are what im looking for. currently im running H&R lowering springs and all the info I found on them is its a 1.4in drop all the way around, and I need springs that wll actually give me a slight lift since im doing the ralliart 5-lug conversion and want to run the stock ralliart wheel size.. and to run 205/50/16 they are 12mm larger than my current rims of 205-40-17. with my current setup I can fit the 16s up front but I don't think ill have the clearance in the rear. I see the s-techs would raise the rear a touch but im not sure its enough. looks like to h-techs ill have to convert my front struts to oz.

I think you would be alright with the H&Rs even after the 5 lug conversion

You really think so? my 205/40/17s are really close under the rear right now.
