2006 Lancer ES Springs

Okay, so I have been recently digging pretty deep into finding some lowering springs for my 2006 ES. Seems like there are some pretty mixed results on what exactly will fit. According to Tein the springs for the 2002-2005 ES are different than the 2006-2007 and that the springs from the ralliart and oz will fit my year. Megan says their springs for the ralliart/oz and the ES are different regardless of year. I'm just curious if anybody has any experience with fitting springs on the 2006-2007 ES and has some recommendations on what to buy

My 04 es is different than the oz/ra. The es springs are smaller in diameter than the oz/es, if you measure your spring diameter and post it it would narrow it down.

That is a very good thought since the manufacturer usually posts their springs measurements. I'll have to get it in the air and do that this weekend then.

Thank you

So I just installed some new springs. Turns out ralliart/oz rally springs are a direct fit for the 06-07 lancer es. Turns out the strut assembly is exactly the same as the RA, yet with taller springs. The hub of course is different. but all the suspension components are identical compared to my buddy's RA. So for all you 06-07 ES owners wondering what selection springs you have, just know you have more selection than the models prior. I guess Mitsu just decided it would be cheaper to use the same strut setup across their model line
