Ok so here's my problem.. I have a 02' Lancer ES and i had bought some OZ Rally rims for the car, love the style of em. I did not originally get an OZ due to not having the money at the time. I got these rims used and cheap. I received them and tried to put them on and come to find that the bolt pattern is 4x4.5 rather than 4x4 on the ES. Is there ANYWAY in the world for me to get these to fit, any fabrication or customizing to get them on? I'd love to know if anyone has tried this.. I dont wanna resell them, i love em. Help?
If you really want to use them, they do sell wheel adapters (4 X 114.3 to 4 X 100). Same concept as bolt on wheel spacers. IIRC they run around $100 for a pair. Do a search (google).
Thank you so much, I found what I was looking for.. I didn't think it'd be as easy as getting adapters for them to fit. You helped a bunch, appreciate it.
I know this is an old thread but hopefully someone can help. I have an 03 lancer ES and I'm looking for some oem wheels that I can throw on it. I haven't had much luck with aftermarket so if rather get something OEM.
My first impulse was the OZ wheels which I learned wouldn't work so I tried Mirage wheels but problem is there like 150-200 a piece. I came up with the Mini Cooper base has 15" wheels that are also 4x100 and have the same width as the es. Problem is the mini uses the same screw type lugs as BMW which have the acorn shape, if I get acorn lug nuts do you think it will work? Thanks guys.
if you can find a set of Fast version 5 wheels, they look just like OZ wheels and come in 4x100. I had a set on my lancer ES. in this pic they are obviously not 4 bolt, but they come on non-universal bolt patterns OEM JDM wheels are a good find, because they are usually enkei or some other good brand, even on non-evo models...
