Coilovers just refers to the type of springs. Many coilover kits come with shocks, but some are just springs with sleeves to fit over the stock shocks.

It depends on what type of coilovers you get. The Ground Control are simply sleeves, so it's adjustable coils and springs. The Tein are a full coilover, so it's got replacement shocks as well.

Not at all. I've driven on them for a few months now and the only downside is that my camber is off due to the much lower ride.

GhostRider: Did you keep your stock shocks with them, or did you uprade?

I was figuring with the coilovers that my stock shocks would last a bit longer
