The original post asked for exactly what I'm looking for.. maybe one person answered it right? Yeah, I can do a search and take the time to find out.. or you could answer the original question to the specifications. It's a lot easier that way for the rest of us, and since you already know them off the top of your head, it would have been easier for you to just say it instead of rattling on about how I should go do a search. That's the point to having threads and not just random posts in a forum... to put all the info into a central location. Otherwise you have a cluttered mess of inefficiency. If I were doing a search for what I want, yeah sure I'd find lots of threads I'd have to go through to find out how low all the springs/coilovers will lower the ride.. but that doesn't help me in the slightest. Yeah I could do a search for pictures of lowered rides.. but again this doesn't help. This thread is exactly what I needed, all the info put into a single spot.

Stainless, the original post asked how much the person's car was dropped, but you seem to be happy with the manufacturer's rating. Keep in mind that Kareem's car on Progress springs was dropped over 2.5" in the back thanks to 300 lb of stereo equipment in the back I'm not trying to be a jerk, I was just trying to point out that it was unclear and that the information is here. I might be wrong, but it seemed that you were flaming shonuffgd for not knowing the exact drop on his Lancer instead of thanking him for what little information he gave you.
Also, please keep in mind the numbers I gave you were off the top of my head, so I don't know if I'm accurate or not. I don't have the time to search for each of them, so if you want to be sure, either wait for more responses to this thread or run a search yourself... or just take my recollection as fact.
Anyway, sorry if I'm off base here, just seemed like you were mad that people weren't giving you every ounce of information in this single thread.

I wasn't flaming anyone. I'm just pointing out that showing a picture of your lowered lancer does no good if we don't know how much you lowered it. And yeah, it'd be helpful of course if you mention you have 300lbs of stereo equipment in the back, but I'd think it'd be common sense to mention that. I can't accurately judge how much I want to lower my ride if nobody coughs up numbers. Know what I mean? Shonuff did edit his post to do this and now I know what I'm going to do.

Dude, almost every web site that sells springs lists how much the springs will drop the car. That's kinda your answer right there. shonuffgd said he has Tein springs so if you went to pretty much any website that sells them they would say it lowers the car 1.8 in the front and 1.1 in the rear. You don't need to get pissed cause someone doesn't answer your question by spelling it out for you. Yeah, the point of having a thread can be used for questions but this questions been asked a dozen times before and I'm sick of weeding through tons of reposts everyday to find the one or two acual new topics.

I can't. Teins are not made for my lancer. And I hate to have to explain this again and again. Saying how much they drop isn't enough. Just showing a picture isn't enough. You need both, plus any info that would be important(like added weight from other mods). The original post asked for people to post pictures and explain their setup, is that too much to ask? Why are you getting on my case when that's the point to the thread? If you don't want to answer the original question, don't post.

And not every website says what would be common sense to put on it. I have found many websites that don't bother to say which version of lancer their springs work for, don't even say how much they drop, etc. Seems they have the same mentality as you, people should go find out somewhere else.

Look at it this way. If a site can't post specs then don't buy from 'em. Buy from a reputable site.

I wanna lower my car as soon as I get my kit on.I'm just worried about the ride quality. Is it going to be bumpy? Am I gonna feel every bump in the road? So I'm not sure right now.

if yuo lower your car, it won't be as comfy as stock..you'l feel the road more..in a way its a good thing, but bumps and pot holes best to avoid...and if your kit makes the car even lower, watch for clearence ...some of the speed bumps these days are rediculusly high for some reason.. and parking..i dont think u'll park that close to hit that curb..just make sure yuo know how much clearence you have when the pavement is uneven... i scratched my stock kit without lowering my car..cuz of the stupid pavement..i hit the curb at this parking stall...po'd..but oh well.. all in all, just be more cautious when you got a lowered ride with a body kit.
