well i was driving home from a friends house and i hit a huge pothole(wasnt really paying attention) and now i have huge scratch marks all the way around the lip of my driver side and driver rear rims. I own motegi racing ff-5 hyperblack 17inch and was wondering how much would a place charge to rebuff and sand the lip of my front tire and about half the lip of my back tire.. would it just be better if i just replaced the rims.. does motegi got a warranty or anything for this.. i highly doubt it but what the hell it was worth asking.. im really pissed off right now

yeah that sucks... if it is just a scratch, it'll be cheaper to get it buffed out... if you have some rim hacked out, it would be better to replace. There's def. no pothole coverage for wheels... good luck, and watch out for those curbs and potholes.

haha ozevo man uve replied to like all my bad threads in the past like 2 mins... yea rim repair though how the hell am i gonna paint a rim hyper black.... im lazy i'll just take it to a place.. how much u think they'll charge??

how will you paint hyperblack? hmm by matching the color. was told that it was 150 on a single wheel.

Yeah i just bought a few new rims after my brother curb checked my lancer... So now i have a set of scratched / dinged rims... Along w/ the rims on my car now. You can never win.
