how much power can the auto trannies handle??

how much power can the auto trannies handle??

i know it can handle 200-250 obviously but can it handle 300-350?

Yeah this tranny is the same one used in the 2.4L and 3 L 96-03 eclipse and some other cars that seem to handle some decent power.

his mods were of course stage 2 kit ported im, tb, cam and prolly of course exhaust (correct me if im wrong)

i think about 250 is about as much as you could push it stock. After that you'd start having major issues.

if you got a new torque converter however, i'm sure you could go a lot higher

^I thought that "mystery" 370 hp lancer in SC was auto? We'll see the results one of these days...maybe!

i would assume the transmission has had a lot of work

One can only assume until we see something material at this pt! All we have right now is this story from RRM...

actually i talked to rrm the tranny was built. i called up level ten for a built auto tranny and OMG it cost alottttttttt
