Don't know why you guys are against the cvt. The cvt when floored will keep the car at the max of the HP curve and not do the yo yo on rpm's like a stick. I'm very happy with the CVT. Drive your cvt around town in L gear and it should be a little more peppy.

im not complaining about the performance of the CVT, its only slow off the line which can be fixed with unconventional launching techniques. I just miss the extra peddle and its not as fun to drive as a manual. Also, when upgrading, CVT guys are pretty much stuck at 280whp or so after advance modification with the cooling of the CVT. Anymore and it will probably break. So if you want more than 280whp, you need a new car.

i doubt the lancer can reach 280whp.
with turbo its only 200ish whp
