a tranny swap? are you aware of how much it would cost for you to convert a CVT to a stick?

I feel your pain, the only reason I have a CVT is because my mom can't drive stick. She didn't pay for any of the car, and hardly ever drives it, maybe twice a year, but since I couldn't get a good loan in my name I put it under her name and her excuse was "If there is an emergency and the only car around is your car, I need to be able to drive it so you need an automatic. And manual cars are an old technology, who want's a stick in a brand new car?". Since i make all the payments and came up with the $5k down, I really wish I could have gotten the car I wanted. Oh well, I'm just looking to make the lancer more fun, and buying a 240SX and swapping in a RB25DET to really have power.

How can RRM make a tranny swap? It's a process using stock parts, not an aftermarket addition.

well they COULD offer a package with all the accessories for a manual, like the extra pedal, new brake pedal, shifter, etc., and just make the customer find their own tranny haha

Or they could just let the customer deal with it since I suspect the swap would cost more than the trade in cost to just buy a manual.
