Lancer Transmission

Does anyone know if Mitsubishi uses the same manual transmission on the GTS as they do for the DE and GT models? Also, would the transmission for the 2.4L GTS' work with a 2008 GTS model?

yes all 5 speed lancer through 08-12 are trans code F5MBB. not sure if the bellhousing were changed to fit the 2.4 but I highly doubt it.
