Swapped Evo 7 Wheel, now the turn signals dont turn off...

Yesterday I swapped out my OZ steering wheel for the JDM Evo 7 wheel. Using the TERRIBLE instructions on this website, i managed to rip out the airbag wiring clockspring behind the wheel. After two hours of work, i finally managed to get it all back together, reassembled, and the new wheel put on. But after doing some driving, i noticed that my turn signals dont automatically turn off after i make a turn. Does anyone know how to fix this?

now i have noticed that when i turn right, the wheel has to turn 180 degrees to turn the blinker off and to the left it has to turn 360 degrees. Does anyone know anything about the inner workings of the steering column???

well i didnt rip my clockspring out just screwed up the alignment. I took it to the dealer and they charged me $250 to fix it!!! After that i took it apart correctly and saw that i could have actually fixed it myself in minutes... to bad i still dont have that service manual that everyone keeps promising to send me...
