idle trouble

i just purchace a 03 es 100 000 KMS (canada)
and the idiot that had that thing
instal a CAI AEM and instald the air map the wrong side
i've riped off the CAI and place back origine one
the idle is going up''n down sinse then
could it be a vacum problem
any clue?

Disconnect the battery, let it sit for 15 minutes, reconnect the battery, start it up and let it sit for 10 minutes.

i did that and the car run's nice for 5 min. than f**k's
again but i have no engine light on
is there a idle speed control somewere in there?

You have to let the ECU relearn its settings because you disconnected the battery. That takes about 10-20 minutes. Just drive it around and let it stall out until it's back to normal again. That's what I do to mine.

i took it for a ride around the block and still does it
their's parts that come's from a scrap yard

on my evo it was below the throttle body,you could even take it out and clean it..but im not to shure on your car

But I'm sure that's not the case. I can almost bet money it's the MAF.

look inside the MAF hole. there should be a very thin resistor there. if you don't see it or if the resistor is broken, replace MAF. o and btw DO NOT TOUCH the resistor. it will explode due to static elctricty that your finger generated. duma$$ like me learned it th hard way lol
